Following in her ex’s footsteps, Katherine Jenkins has signed up to take part on the US version of Strictly Come Dancing, Dancing With The Stars for a fee of £50k.
The Welsh warbler, 31, met Gethin Jones, 34, in 2007 when he was a contestant on the primetime Brit show and she came on to perform.
The couple called off their engagement in December.
Now, the singer will partner Mark Ballas in a lineup including Gladys Knight, 67, in the US show, kicking off next month.
A spokesman for Jenkins said: "She's very excited to be taking part."
Previous British stars of the ABC network show - which returns next month - have included Heather Mills and Kelly Osbourne, while Strictly's Len Goodman is a regular judge.
Other competitors vying for the mirrorball trophy include Wimbledon champion Martina Navratilova, Melrose Place actor Jack Wagner, The View co-host Sherri Shepherd, former Little House On The Prairie child actress Melissa Gilbert, Disney Channel star Roshon Fegan and singer-songwriter Gavin DeGraw.
Contestants dance their first routines on March 19 and March 26, with the elimination on March 27.
The series was won by soldier-turned-actor JR Martinez and partner Karina Smirnoff.
Other previous champions have included Dirty Dancing actress Jennifer Grey - who became a guest judge on Strictly last year - and ex-Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger.
